TAIO CRUZ

TAIO CRUZ est Né et élevé à Londres, en Angleterre, Jacob Taio Cruz (prononcé comme 'Tie' 'O') a commencé son parcours musical à un âge très précoce. Avec une voix de chant doué et apprendre à jouer du piano à l'oreille, il possédait un talent naturel et une affinité pour créer de la musique.

À l'école, il a commencé à développer ses talents, à écrire des chansons et apprendre à utiliser un logiciel de production numérique.

Partage de ses chansons avec son cercle d'amis proches, il ne fallut pas longtemps avant que sa musique a attiré l'attention. Il a atterri rapidement un contrat d'édition à l'âge de 17 ans après une Def Jam A & R, qui sortait avec une des amies de Taio, a entendu l'une des démos de Taio jouant en arrière-plan lors d'un appel téléphonique à sa petite amie une soirée malheureuse.

Peu après, Taio a été appelé pour une réunion, signé, et a été transporté vers Atlanta pour commencer à travailler sur les plus grands projets de la scène de la musique pop.

Avec affiliations à Dallas Austin (Madonna) et Tricky Stewart (Rihanna, Beyonce) Taio a présenté ses chansons aux goûts de Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake et Rihanna.

Avance rapide de quelques années, et 19 ans Taio est maintenant un gagnant Brit Award pour l'écriture du meilleur single britannique "Your Game" pour Will Young. Il a ensuite procédé à l'étape de derrière le rideau et l'auto-écriture et de produire son premier album, "Départ".

L'album "Départ", obtenu le statut Gold certifié au Royaume-Uni, a été nominé pour plusieurs prix, et a été le lauréat du prix ASCAP Vanguard.

succès breakout International Taio est venu avec la sortie de son deuxième album Rokstarr (volontairement mal orthographié et nommé d'après sa marque de lunettes de soleil du même nom).

Le premier single "Break Your Heart" est devenu un grand succès mondial, en atteignant le numéro 1 des charts dans de nombreux pays, y compris à la fois au Royaume-Uni et aux USA.

En Amérique, "Break Your Heart" atteint 2010 record de saut de Billboard au numéro 1, en se déplaçant à partir du numéro 53 au numéro 1 dans une semaine.

Post "Break Your Heart", le long est venu un autre fracas encore mondiale hit single, dans le phénomène qui est "Dynamite", une co chanson écrite avec Max Martin, et produit par Dr Luke. Dynamite en tête des charts dans une demi-douzaine de pays différents, a remporté Taio trois Billboard Awards, ainsi que de nombreuses nominations de partout dans le monde.

Avec des collaborations incroyables sur les célibataires successifs tels que "supérieur" avec Kylie Minogue, "Hangover" avec Flo Rida, «Little Bad Girl" avec David Guetta, et Dirty Picture avec Kesha, Taio dominé les ondes.

Biography

Born and bred in London, England, Jacob Taio Cruz (Pronounced as ‘Tie’ ‘O’) began his musical journey at a very early age. With a gifted singing voice and learning to play the piano by ear, he possessed a natural skill and affinity for creating music.

At school he began to expand his talents, writing songs & learning to use digital production software.

Sharing his songs with his close circle of friends, It wasn’t long before his music gained attention. He quickly landed a publishing deal at the age of 17 after a Def Jam A&R, who was dating one of Taio’s female friends, overheard one of Taio’s demos playing in the background whilst on a phone call to his girlfriend one fated evening.

Soon afterwards, Taio was called in for a meeting, signed, and was flown out to Atlanta to begin working on the biggest projects in the pop music scene.

With affiliations to Dallas Austin (Madonna) and Tricky Stewart (Rihanna, Beyonce) Taio presented his songs to the likes of Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and Rihanna.

Fast forward a couple of years, and a 19 year old Taio is now a Brit Award winner for writing the Best British Single “Your Game” for Will Young. He then proceeded to step out from behind the curtain and self-write and produce his debut album, “Departure”.

The album “Departure”, achieved certified Gold status in the UK, was nominated for various awards, and was the winner of the ASCAP Vanguard award.

Taio’s International breakout success came with the release of his second album Rokstarr (purposely misspelled and named after his sunglasses brand of the same name).

The first single “Break Your Heart” became a worldwide smash hit, reaching number 1 on the charts in numerous countries including both the UK and USA.

In America, “Break Your Heart” achieved Billboard’s 2010 record breaking jump to number 1, by moving from number 53 to number 1 in one week.

Post “Break Your Heart”, along came a yet another global smash hit single, in the phenomenon that is “Dynamite”, a song co written with Max Martin, and produced by Dr Luke.
